Overview

The Roster Division recruits, screens, and matches civilian experts with position vacancies in the areas of peacebuilding, humanitarian relief and development. To do this, we maintain a screened database of 41,983 experts (and growing!) in a variety of areas including:

  • human rights
  • democratization
  • elections
  • rule of law
  • governance
  • security and policing
  • counter-trafficking
  • admin-logistics
  • child protection
  • engineering
  • humanitarian aid
  • water and sanitation

CANADEM’s Roster Division has hired and seconded 5,181 experts for positions with UN agencies, multilateral organizations, national governments, NGOs, and private businesses in 74 countries.

CANADEM supports United Nations Resolution 1325 in expanding the role and contribution of women in UN field operations, thus we strongly promote the registration and participation of women. You can find more information on our 1325 roster here.
